So, my blog silence has made me unintentionally topical as British and then later, US Mothers day rode by with a debate on attatchment parenting/ extended nursing. For me, it's a no brainer, so, today my youngest and still occasionally nursing daughter and I have moved on to celebrate an altogether different sort of mummy.
THE GREAT PHAROH POOH BEAR
Upon the sorry demise of the great pharoh Pooh Bear, a most sage and beloved ruler, he was carried to the place of change. Stuffing was removed and placed within a coptic yoghurt pot. He was sprinkled with salt and left for 40 days, erm seconds, then restuffed with sawdust.
Enbalming fluid seemed a little messy, though I did pause here to finish my tea whilst little I sewed.
He was resewn
.....and bound
and after some time a lovingly crafted death mask was glued in place.
Now for a pyramid.........
